Mads Ostberg, with his co-driver Patrik Barth, at the start of the Rally certainly had a different outcome in mind to be able to recover in the championship, but due to an engine problem on his Citroen C3 Rally2 (ex R5), fitted with MRF Tyres, he immediately slipped to the rear .
The Norwegian desperately tried to make up ground on the final day of competition, finishing in eighth place.
But for them there was a little satisfaction during the weekend: they broke the Colin’s Crest jump record, previously owned by Eyvind Brynildsen and set in 2016 with a jump of 45 meters, literally flying 47 meters, improving it by 2 meters!
