Peugeot 208 Rally4 – A. Nucita/G. Nucita (24. class RC4) – Rally di Roma Capitale 2021

Today, we head to Italy for the Rally di Roma Capitale, a significant event organized under the direction of Max Rendina, the 2014 Production World Champion. The competition takes place in the magnificent setting of Rome, the capital of Italy, and represents a crucial stage for both the Italian Rally Championship and the prestigious FIA European Rally Championship (ERC).

The starting lineup features 98 highly skilled drivers, including well-known names such as Lukyanuk, Mikkelsen, Gryazin, dear Breen and experienced local drivers Crugnola and Basso. They will compete along a 190.09 km tarmac route. Noteworthy in the Rally4 class on the entry list is Andrea Nucita, behind the wheel of the official Peugeot 208 managed by F.P.F. Sport, featuring our RBR livery.

The Italian driver, boasting a great palmares with titles such as the Abarth Rally Cup 2019, Italy Junior 2012, and Italy Production (2WD) 2013, in partnership with his brother Giuseppe, began the race with great determination, securing the top spot in both the RC4 class and the Italy 2WD standings.

Unfortunately, due to technical issues, they lost a considerable amount of time, finishing the first day of the race far from the leading positions. The keyword for the second day was “attack.” And this is how the two brothers approached the final day of the race, recovering crucial positions for the championship. Despite the challenges faced in this rally, the victories in the other championship races allowed the Nucita brothers to clinch the “Italy 2WD 2021” title.
