Spanning from January 25th to January 28th, the rally headquarters in Gap, organized by the Automobile Club de Monaco, extend over 324.44 km of asphalted and snowy special stages, with icy sections making every corner unpredictable.

At the starting line, the best drivers with the best cars compete fiercely until the last meter of the race. And so it was: the final outcome did not disappoint. In the overall standings, the top 3 drivers finished the race with a gap of only 45 seconds, while in the WRC2 class, the top 3 drivers battled with a gap of just 15 seconds!

The WRC2 category is experiencing a golden period, thanks to the use of Rally2 class cars. While in the top WRC class, with Rally1 cars, the future seems uncertain with few cars and manufacturers, in WRC2, the number of participants is always high and of the highest quality, offering thrilling entertainment for rally enthusiasts.

Nikolay Gryazin, along with his navigator Konstantin Aleksandrov, officially represents Citroën and will compete in the 2024 season with the C3 Rally2 managed by AEC-DG Sport Competition.

The Russian driver engaged in a fierce battle with López Pepe aboard the Skoda Fabia Rally2 and with Rossel Yohan, his teammate in Citroën, with constant changes in the lead.

At the end of the three-day race, the Gryazin-Aleksandrov crew finished in a commendable 10th place overall and on the WRC2 class podium, earning valuable points for the championship and gaining experience with their new car in constantly changing and unpredictable conditions.

The second event of the World Championship will be the Rally Sweden, scheduled from February 15th to February 18th.
